We’ve been hard at work to bring you this latest update for loup. There is a full breakdown of features at the bottom of the page but we thought we would talk about a few of our favourites!
A revamped scan modal: making digital receipts easy.
In our mission to make digital receipts even easier, we’ve redesigned the scan modal to provide greater flexibility and ease when shopping online or in-store.
You can now switch between different ways to scan your loup address, making it even faster and less awkward asking for a digital or e-receipt.
- QR Code can be used in support loup stores and most retailers.
- In-store a barcode with your loup address, can be used in nearly every shop.
- Email your loup address, that can be easily copied, used in-store or online.
Links and pictures: better interaction and easier to find receipts.
Ever wanted to quickly find that item you bought to buy it again, share the link or just to find the instructions… Well your wait is over!
loup now picks up links from emails and receipts (in-store in supported retailers and all online order confirmations) and allows you to open them from the loup app.
As well as the above we’ve improved what logos appear for a receipt and shops.
Auto-delete messages to increase your productivity.
Messages are offers and marketing that you will usually never open or if you do, they tend only to be relevant for the first 7 days of receiving them.
For example, you receive a voucher via email for a shop you like. The voucher will have an expiry (or it is an offer that has an expiry). In these cases, you may use the voucher within a few weeks or you will ignore the email and forget to delete it.
The loup way With loup, the above is no longer a problem. loup detects the email type and will automatically clean up these messages after 30 days. This keeps your account de-cluttered and save you time deleting messages and emails.
Loyalty just got a loy-t easier!
loup already is becoming the place for your digital receipts; now it is time for your many loyalty programs, memberships, and gift cards to call loup their home.
loup stores loyalty programs will automatically sync and keep it all in the app (under the shop screen). Never lose another loyalty card again…

Bugs
- Fixed order changes in group-by by label random.
- New receipts appear at the top of the shop screen, instead of the bottom.
- We’ve fixed the bug: Adding a label breaks preview, export and sharing.
- Shop thumbnail missing on home, now appear.
- General performance improvements and fixes.
